Diplomacy

is the management of relations between countries. Abroad. It is maintained by each country’s representatives ;

is an art of dealing with people and countries;
•Diplomats
i.e. ambassador, envoy representative whose job is to representative their
country in the receiving country;

of tact and intelligence to the conduct
of official relations between the governments of independent states. It is art
to negotiate’-Ernest Satow; and

foreign policy of the state is the substance of foreign relations whereas diplomacy is the process by which the
policy is carried out.
